Well… everybody has something to say and share about the Nikon D4…
Nikon says “Success has a new name”
Chase Jarvis says “So.. I (we) knew this was coming, but rather than me spouting off about having played with the system (I can’t), or telling you what your feelings about this system should be (I won’t), I’m turning the tables on you. What’s your take? Love, hate, indifferent? Insights?”
Joe Mcnally says “The D4 is an entirely new chapter in the history of the pixels.”
Strobist says “[...] I think every long-term photographer has an interesting and very personal journey leading to their current gear bag. Here’s mine.”
Nikon Rumors currently* has 6 posts regarding the Nikon D4. They offer a Nikon D4 vs. Canon EOS 1Dx specs comparison and Nikon D4 vs. D3s specs comparison worth checking.
Rosa Golijan (from msnbc.com GadgetBox) writes “The Nikon D4: This DSLR camera makes the pros drool”
Darren Murph from Engadget shares “Here’s a seven-minute Nikon D4 sample video: try not to drool” This video a video by Cory Rich and it is AWESOME. You have to see it (on full-screen and HD on)
Cory Rich says “It’s here! The Nikon D4 has arrived and it is a freaking HOT camera!”
Here is the video (in case you didn’t click on the link above)
As for me… I can’t wait to get one… or two.

We are about to say goodbye to 2011.
And as many of you, I take some time to reflect about “the good, the bad, and the ugly” (not the movie).
As I was reviewing some numbers (G analytics) and galleries of the Blurred Line Photography customer site, I found some popular galleries and photos.
The Blurred Line Photography team thank you customers, friends, supporters… We enjoyed capturing those memories and working together. We had a great time together in 2011.
In no particular order, here are some photoshoots to remember…

I’ve tried to blog. Oh yeah! But every time, I’ve stopped soon after the first or second post. I’m really going to try to keep up this time around. I have a new vision! …Lighting!
Natural light, small strobes, monolights, light modifiers, lighting diagrams, photography… I’ll try to talk about the way I see colleagues “light” their subjects, what equipment they use, what equipment I (and the Blurred Line Photography team) utilize. And, what I think will be a cool thing for some of you, I’ll post as many lighting diagrams as exciting photographs I see (or capture).
Let’s see how it goes. More to come…
